Crewcart support

1. Open your theme editor
   • Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify admin
   • Click Customize on your active theme
2. Add the Crewcart Drawer to your footer
   • In the theme editor sidebar, scroll down to Footer
   • Click Add block or Add app block
   • Select Apps > Crewcart Drawer
3. Or use the quick install button
   • In your Crewcart dashboard, click "Install on theme"
   • This will open the theme editor with Crewcart ready to configure

Once installed, customize how Crewcart appears to your customers:

Hide Crewcart Badge by default

• Enable this option so the Crewcart badge only appears when customers click an activator button
• This keeps your store clean until customers actively want to shop together

Crewcart Width

• Adjust the drawer width to match your store's design (default: 400px)

Desktop Position

• Choose where the drawer slides in from: Right (recommended), Left, Top, or Bottom

Mobile Position

• Optimize for mobile: Bottom (recommended), Top, Left, or Right

‍

Button Color & Button Hover Color

• Match your brand colors (e.g., #000000 for black)
• Use your primary CTA color for consistency

Header Image

• Upload a banner image to personalize the cart experience
• Recommended size: 400px × 100px

Intro Text

• Add a welcoming message or instructions for first-time users
• Example: "Shop together with friends and unlock group discounts!"

Use Custom Slider Button Text

• Enable to show custom text like "Group Cart" instead of the Crewcart logo
• Slider Button Name: Enter your preferred text (max 15 characters)
• Font settings: Choose family, size, and weight to match your theme

Capture Cart Clicks

• When enabled, clicking your regular cart icon opens Crewcart if a customer has an active shared cart
• Creates seamless experience for returning group shoppers

Custom Invite URL

• Redirect the invite link to a specific collection (e.g., /collections/crewdeals)
• Useful if you only offer group discounts on certain products

Recommended placements:

• ✅ Product pages (below "Add to Cart" button)
• ✅ Collection pages (above product grid)
• ✅ Cart page (as alternative checkout option)
• ✅ Homepage (in promotional banners)

1. In the theme editor, navigate to the page template you want to edit:
   • Products > Product information
   • Collections > Collection banner
   • Or any other section
2. Add the Crewcart Activator Button block
   • Click Add block or Add app block
   • Select Apps > Crewcart Activator Button
3. Customize the button

Button text

• Default: "Share Live Cart"
• Make it action-oriented: "Shop Together & Save", "Create Group Cart", "Unlock Group Discount"

Button width

• Use 100% for full-width buttons
• Use 200px or 50% for inline buttons

Button Color & Button Hover Color

• Match your primary CTA buttons for consistency
• Example: #000000 (black) with #333333 (dark gray) hover
